FDA Clears Ventolin for New Drug Applications
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has determined that albuterol sulfate inhalation solution 0.5% (Ventolin) was not withdrawn from sale for reasons of safety or effectiveness, paving the way for the approval of abbreviated new drug applications (ANDAs) for the medication.
