FDA Proposes Amendment to Antidiarrheal Drug Monograph for Over-the-Counter Human Use

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is issuing a proposed rule that would expand the indications for over-the-counter (OTC) antidiarrheal drug products to include relief from travelers' diarrhea, a common condition affecting travelers, caused by infectious agents.
