FDA Approves Penicillin G for Turkeys to Treat Erysipelosis
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the use of penicillin G in drinking water for turkeys to treat erysipelas, a bacterial infection caused by Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, following a submission by pharmaceutical company Phoenix Scientific, Inc.
