FDA Issues Temporary Permit for Romano Cheese Deviating From U.S. Standard

The FDA has granted a temporary permit to Kerry, Inc., Eau Galle Cheese Factory, and the First District Association to test market romano cheese that doesn't meet the U.S. identity standard for the cheese, allowing them to gauge consumer acceptance and assess commercial viability.
