FDA Issues Interim Final Regulation for Prior Notice of Imported Food Under the Bioterrorism Act

The FDA is requiring food importers to submit prior notice of imported food, including animal feed, to the FDA via electronic systems at least 8 hours before arrival, in compliance with the Public Health Security and Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002.
