FDA Publishes Draft Guidance on Dental Alloys for Clinical Use

The FDA has released draft guidance documents outlining requirements for dental precious metal alloys and base metal alloys to ensure compliance with special controls for Class II devices, while also proposing to exempt these devices from premarket notification in a related proposed rule.
