U.S. Coast Guard and MARAD Announce Intent to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Port Pelican Deepwater Port License Application

The U.S. Coast Guard and the Maritime Administration are seeking public input on their plan to prepare an environmental impact statement for a proposed liquefied natural gas deepwater port in the Gulf of Mexico, approximately 36 miles south-southwest of Fresh Water City, Louisiana.
