Coast Guard Establishes Permanent Security Zones in Hawaiian Waters

The US Coast Guard is creating designated security zones around the islands of Oahu, Maui, Hawaii, and Kauai to safeguard personnel, vessels, and facilities from sabotage, accidents, or other threats during operations, effective immediately.
