UN Committee Seeks Public Comments on Draft Electronic Commerce Convention

The United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) is seeking public comments on a draft convention on electronic commerce, which aims to establish basic enabling laws for the enforceability of electronic messaging in contractual matters. Comments can be submitted until the Fall of 2005, and additional meetings will be held to review changes to the draft text.
