USDA Adopts New Raisin Varietal Type and Quality Requirements

The US Department of Agriculture has finalized a rule adding a new type of raisin, known as Other Seedless-Sulfured raisins, to the regulations governing California raisins, with enhanced quality standards for this new varietal type.
