EPA to Deactivate Republic Steel Quarry Superfund Site in Ohio

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 5 is removing the Republic Steel Quarry Superfund Site in Elyria, Ohio, from the National Priorities List (NPL) due to completion of all necessary cleanup efforts, as per the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) of 1980.
