EPA Extends Comment Period for Pesticide Chemical Tolerances Amidst NRDC Objections

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has extended the comment period for final rules on pesticide chemical tolerances, following objections from the National Resources Defense Council (NRDC) regarding safety concerns for infants and children, and aggregate exposure to pesticide residues, until October 16, 2002.
