Federal Agencies Withdraw Proposed Rulemaking for NEPA Implementation Regulation

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) are withdrawing a proposed rulemaking proceeding to update the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) implementation regulation, citing the need for further work to address comments and the upcoming legislative reauthorization of the surface transportation program.
