Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. Issues Airworthiness Directive for Model 212 Helicopters

The company has issued an amendment to its existing airworthiness directive for Model 212 helicopters, requiring modifications and inspections to address cracking issues in the vertical fin left-hand spar caps, in response to an accident and four failures involving similar helicopters.
