HUD Announces Loss Mitigation Default Counseling Demonstration Program

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is launching a limited demonstration program to test the demand for and effectiveness of including reimbursement for default counseling in loss mitigation actions, with a focus on borrowers in high-risk areas.
