USDA Advisory Committee Recommends New Cotton Standards

The USDA's Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) announced that the Universal Cotton Standards Advisory Committee recommended the creation of two new cotton standards, representing the high and low ends of the American Upland micronaire range, and guidelines for standardized HVI testing, which can be accessed on the USDA's website at http://www.ams.usda.gov/cotton/cnpubs.
