EPA Approves Louisiana's Ozone Implementation Plan, Extends Attainment Date and Withdraws Nonattainment Determination

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved Louisiana's 1-hour ozone attainment demonstration State Implementation Plan (SIP) for the Baton Rouge nonattainment area, extending the ozone attainment date to November 15, 2005, while retaining the area's classification as a serious ozone nonattainment area.
