New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology to Build Observatory in Cibola National Forest

The US Forest Service plans to prepare an environmental impact statement for a proposal by the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology to build a new observatory and its facilities in the Cibola National Forest, with construction expected to take four to five years.
