EPA Approves West Virginia's Air Quality Plan, Sets Nitrogen Dioxide Standard
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed to approve West Virginia's State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision, which sets the state's ambient air quality standard for nitrogen dioxide equivalent to the national standards established by the EPA. The approval is considered noncontroversial, and the EPA will not institute a second comment period if no adverse comments are received.
