US EPA Approves Revised Public Water System Supervision Programs for Multiple States
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced its intention to approve revised Public Water System Supervision Programs for the states of Vermont, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, ensuring compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). The states have met the minimum requirements set forth in the 1996 SDWA Amendments, and the EPA has deemed their current regulations stringent enough to meet federal standards.
