EPA Approves Massachusetts State Plan to Control MWC Emissions

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a state plan submitted by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MA DEP) to regulate emissions from existing Municipal Waste Combustors (MWCs) in the state, with a focus on reducing emissions from facilities with a capacity to combust more than 250 tons of municipal solid waste per day.
