FCC Amends Rules for Digital Television Receivers

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has updated its rules to require new broadcast television equipment to support digital television signals and reference the latest Advanced Television System Committee (ATSC) standard, while also denying a petition to impose minimum performance thresholds for DTV receivers.
