EPA Proposes Revisions to Arizona State Implementation Plan
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing simultaneous limited approval and limited disapproval of revisions to the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality's (ADEQ) portion of the Arizona State Implementation Plan (SIP), which addresses volatile organic compound emissions from dry cleaning and spray painting, as well as visible emissions from mobile equipment. The EPA also plans to approve full revisions to the SIP concerning emissions from petroleum storage tanks and mobile equipment, and will consider local rules regulating these emission sources under the Clean Air Act.
