US Law Exempts Certain Electronic Signatures from Electronic Signatures Act

The Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN) preserves the validity of electronic signatures, but Section 103 of the Act exempts certain contracts and records from its provisions, including those related to court documents, probate, and insurance benefits cancellations.
