EPA Proposes Approval of Massachusetts Low Emission Vehicle Program
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a revised State Implementation Plan (SIP) submitted by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, which includes updated emission standards for light-duty and medium-duty vehicles, as well as a zero emission vehicle (ZEV) program, in an effort to reduce volatile organic compounds (VOC) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions in accordance with the Clean Air Act (CAA).
