Public Land Order No. 7544: Revocation of Executive Order Dated October 16, 1866; Michigan

The U.S. government has revoked an Executive Order from 1866 that reserved public lands for the U.S. Coast Guard to maintain two lighthouses. The move will allow 57.5 acres of land to be opened to surface entry, while the remaining lands have been transferred or declared excess property.
