EPA Releases 37 TMDLs for Arkansas Water Bodies Under Clean Water Act Section 303(d)

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 6 has announced the availability for public comment on 37 Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) for water bodies in Arkansas, which were developed in response to a lawsuit filed by environmental groups against the EPA. The TMDLs were calculated to address water quality issues in the state.
