OSHA Assistant Secretary to Assume Expanded Authority for Occupational Safety and Health

The U.S. Department of Labor has delegated authority to the Assistant Secretary for Occupational Safety and Health, effective immediately, to oversee workplace safety and health regulations, as outlined in Secretary's Order 5-2002.
