Federal Agencies to Conduct Environmental Study for Commuter Rail Corridor in Florida

The Federal Transit Administration, LYNX, METROPLAN ORLANDO, Volusia County MPO, and Florida Department of Transportation plan to conduct scoping meetings and prepare an Environmental Impact Statement to evaluate commuter transportation improvements on the CSX Transportation freight rail corridor between Deland and Kissimmee, Florida, in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969.
