Remedying Undue Discrimination Through Open Access Transmission Service and Standard Electricity Market Design

On July 31, 2002, the Commission issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NOPR) in the above-captioned docket, proposing to amend its regulations to remedy undue discrimination through open access transmission service and standard electricity market design. The Commission has scheduled a series of public conferences, to be held in the Commission Meeting Room, to address specific areas of concern about the proposed rule. Persons interested in speaking at the conferences should file requests to speak on or before October 25, 2002.
