EPA Proposes Extension of Massachusetts CRT Regulation Authorization

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to extend the expiration date of the interim authorization for the Massachusetts state hazardous waste management program for regulating Cathode Ray Tubes (CRTs) from January 1, 2003 to January 1, 2006. The current authorization, granted on November 15, 2000, is set to expire on January 1, 2003, and the EPA is publishing this rule to authorize the extension without a prior proposal, as it does not anticipate any opposition.
