Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas Lease Sales Restrictions

The U.S. government has issued a notice restricting oil and gas lease sales on the Outer Continental Shelf from November 1, 2002, to April 30, 2003, due to joint bidding provisions. The restrictions apply to certain entities, including Exxon Mobil, Shell, BP, and ChevronTexaco, which are grouped into five categories.
