National Park Service Initiates Environmental Impact Analysis for Golden Gate National Recreation Area Transportation Improvements

The National Park Service, in coordination with Marin County and the California Department of Transportation, is preparing an Environmental Impact Statement to assess transportation access and facility improvements to the roadway network between U.S. Highway 101 and Stinson Beach, with the goal of reducing automobile impacts and traffic congestion in the area.
