EPA to Set 8-Hour Ozone NAAQS Designations Under Proposed Consent Decree

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is required to designate areas for the 8-hour ozone national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS) under a proposed Consent Decree filed by the American Lung Association and eight other public interest groups in 2002.
