OPM Revokes Schedule A Authority for Chinese, Japanese, and Hindu Interpreters

The Office of Personnel Management is revoking the Schedule A appointing authority for Chinese, Japanese, and Hindu interpreters, bringing positions into the competitive service and allowing noncompetitive employees to convert to either competitive or excepted service appointments.
