FAA Approves Noise Compatibility Program at Orlando Sanford International Airport

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has approved the noise compatibility program submitted by the Sanford Airport Authority, following the requirements of the Aviation Safety and Noise Abatement Act, and has determined that the airport's noise exposure maps for 2001 and 2006 meet federal standards.
