Monsanto Co. Announces Nonregulated Status for Insect-Resistant Cotton

Monsanto Company has determined that its genetically engineered cotton, Event 15985, is no longer considered a regulated article due to a lack of significant impact on the environment, following evaluation of submitted data and public comments.
