Dassault Falcon 900EX and Mystere Falcon 900 Series Airplanes: New Airworthiness Directive Requires Repetitive Tests and Repairs
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Dassault Model Falcon 900EX and Mystere Falcon 900 series airplanes, requiring repetitive operational tests of the flap asymmetry detection system, replacement of inboard flap jackscrews, and measurement of screw/nut play to prevent jamming during landing, which could lead to reduced controllability of the aircraft.
