Salt River Project Submits Application for Incidental Take Permit for Endangered Species
The Salt River Project has submitted an application for an incidental take permit for four federally listed and candidate species, including the southwestern willow flycatcher, Yuma clapper rail, bald eagle, and yellow-billed cuckoo, which would be affected by the filling of Roosevelt Lake in Arizona, prompting the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to issue a final Environmental Impact Statement and Final Roosevelt Habitat Conservation Plan.
