Customs Withdraws Proposal for General Aviation Telephonic Entry (GATE) Program and Overflight Regulations

Customs has withdrawn its proposal to establish a regulatory framework for the General Aviation Telephonic Entry (GATE) Program and revise the Overflight Program regulations, following a reconsideration of all aircraft entry procedures since the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
