FCC Implements Payphone Compensation Provisions of 1996 Telecommunications Act

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has implemented certain aspects of payphone compensation, resolving issues related to compensation amounts, asset valuation, and petitions for reconsideration, following a 1997 remand by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
