Idaho Panhandle National Forests to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Chips Ahoy Project

The Priest Lake Ranger District will assess the potential environmental effects of a proposal to restore forest communities and reintroduce fire to approximately 980 acres of Idaho Panhandle National Forests and Pend Oreille County, Washington, through regeneration harvest and commercial thinning treatments.
