EPA Approves Massachusetts' Air Quality Plan for Boston-Lawrence-Worcester Area

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a revised State Implementation Plan (SIP) submitted by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, which demonstrates the Massachusetts portion of the Boston-Lawrence-Worcester, MA-NH ozone nonattainment area can meet one-hour ozone standards by November 15, 2007.
