Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Frenchtown Face Ecosystem Restoration Project

The US Forest Service will release an environmental impact statement for a 44,000-acre project in the Ninemile Range District of the Lolo National Forest, Montana, assessing the effects of various land management activities, including timber harvesting and stream restoration, approximately 25 miles northwest of Missoula, Montana.
