FRA Proposes Changes to Alcohol and Drug Testing Policy for Foreign Railroad Employees
The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) is seeking public comment on a proposed policy change to its July 2002 Canadian Human Rights Commission policy on alcohol and drug testing. The proposed rule would narrow the exemption of foreign railroads and small railroads from full application of FRA's requirements, affecting pre-employment drug testing and random alcohol testing for foreign railroad employees working in the US.
