USDA Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Gallatin National Forest Travel Management Amendment

The USDA Forest Service will prepare an environmental impact statement to assess the effects of a proposed amendment to the Gallatin National Forest Land and Resource Management Plan, which will establish guidelines for public recreational use and access on the forest's roads and trails, including off-road vehicle use, hiking, and skiing.
