U.S. Customs Redesignates NCAP/P Test as FAST Prototype, Expands Testing to Northern Border Ports

U.S. Customs is redesignating its National Customs Automation Program (NCAP) test of an Account-Based Declaration Prototype (NCAP/P) as the Free and Secure Trade (FAST) prototype, modifying importer eligibility requirements and expanding testing to two additional Northern Border ports. Existing NCAP/P participants will not need to reapply for FAST participation if they are also part of the Customs Trade Partnership against Terrorism (C-TPAT) initiative.
