USDA Proposes Removal of Cold Treatment Requirement for Ya Pears Imported from China

The US Department of Agriculture is proposing to lift the cold treatment requirement for Ya pears imported from Hebei Province in China, as data from the People's Republic of China shows no Oriental fruit flies have been found in the region since 1997, and the country has requested the removal of the requirement.
