EPA Proposes New General Permit for Storm Water Discharges from Construction Activities

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing a new general permit for storm water discharges from construction activities in 10 regions, replacing existing permits that expire in 2003. The proposed permit would cover large and small construction sites, allowing for the discharge of pollutants in storm water runoff associated with construction activities.
