Digital Audio Broadcasting Systems Chosen for Terrestrial Radio Broadcast Service

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has selected in-band, on-channel (IBOC) as the sole digital technology for the terrestrial radio broadcast service, allowing AM and FM broadcasters to begin interim digital operations immediately using iBiquity Digital Corporation's systems, and solicits industry assistance in developing a formal standard.
